Second grade students heard the story Journey by Aaron Becker.  After hearing the story, students were inspired to create their own imaginary worlds filled with castles, magic carpets and exotic animals.  In the story, a little girl is able to bring to life everything that she draws creating a beautiful, magical and surreal world.  In the same spirit, my students used their rich imaginations to create exciting worlds, imagining unicorns, magic carpets, kings and queens and using crayons and watercolors to bring their adventurous worlds to life.

Students make molas with the materials given to them by donors choose.

Kelly,

Hooray!

The Thank-You Package you mailed has arrived at our office and we'll soon be sending its contents on to your donors.

If you've already posted your Teacher Impact Letter and Photos, then your Thank-You Package is complete! If not, be sure to post it by February 15, 2014 here.

Thank you for sharing your class' appreciation for the materials and experiences provided by your project's donors. A complete and compelling Thank-You Package is often the reason donors return to fund more classroom projects -- perhaps another one of yours!

We hope that you will continue to post projects and tell others about DonorsChoose.org.

Sincerely,

The DonorsChoose.org Team
